Mission Statement

The mission of the communications department is to provide the very best level of service to the citizens of Oregon by answering 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls in a immediate, efficient, and professional manner. By dispatching the appropriate response, we help save lives, protect property, and assist citizens in their time of need.

What is the communications department​?

The communications department is the voice of the citizens to emergency services. We focus on dispatching the appropriate units to any place in as little time as possible. 

Why join communications?

The Communications Department is the only department in OSRP offered to people who do not have a copy of GTA V for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4. We are always looking for members who are dedicated to protecting the lives of the public.
